We are honored to write this letter of recommendation for Legacy Construction. We are the principals of a large NYC commercial real estate company with vast experience in construction. Legacy came recommended to us through our architect, Carol Kurth Associates.

We worked with Legacy to demolish a shabby mid-century house on a five-acre plot in Greenwich and rebuild a modern 14,000 sq foot home. This was a very complicated construction and included an indoor and outdoor pool, two-bedroom cabana, large ballroom, sauna, library, greenhouse, outdoor dance terrace, smart home design, and many other unique features. The house has been featured in Interior Design Magazine in 2019.

We worked closely with partner Tom Yaroscak and project manager Peter Hendrick in weekly meetings to make all key decisions. We especially appreciated their attention to detail and concern with managing costs. They always discussed with us when design elements seemed unnecessarily expensive. They were tireless in proposing and trying out multiple solutions when something did not work as initially envisioned. And they always had a good handle of the schedule for months out to prevent any delays from having ripple effects. We also appreciated their commitment after the project was completed to resolving any minor punch list items expeditiously.
